Leaving A Legacy




The Make a Difference Leadership conference tagged "Leaving a Legacy " held on the 14th day of April, 2018, at Strategic Hub, Port Harcourt.

The Convener Obiyo Daniel, a serving Corp member in Rivers State ,brought together resourceful and well seasoned speakers to address the Corp members, ex-corp members and Prospective Corp members on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Career development.


Engnr. Uba Nduwisi,the CEO of New Era Leadership Centre,  handled the Leadership Seminar. Where he taught that:

-The essence of leadership is to help others achieve their purpose in life.

-God will never give you by miracle what He has assigned for you to get by maturity.

-21st Century leaders are those who develop capacity to make a difference .

-Leadership is the ability to influence and direct people.

-The quality of success you enjoy is directly proportional to the ability to lead yourself.


Simeon Taiwo and Serena Francis ,young movers and shakers of their fields were the panelists for the Digital Marketing.session.

Simeon Tawo: is a Clarity Coach and founder of ClaryLife Global and possess a reassuring poise in speech.  Some punchlines from his speech are:

- " If you want to know how long it takes to build a brand check the calender but, if you want to know how long it takes to stop the brand, check the stop watch".

-"In your business, have a long term vision ;try to last as long as possible ".

-"A brands purpose remains the same but the brand style changes as needs change".

-"Spend more time establishing your presence in the market than competing".

Serena Francis : is a Business Strategist  and Founder of Super Woman .An adorable lady with a good sense of humour. Some punch lines from her speechare:
-"Find the lust of the people and feed it, there would always be a lust to feed"

-"Build your brand visibility by maximizing social media platforms, be known for something "

-"Everybody must not be an entrepreneur, don't get pushed by the moves of others"

-"When you leave your path to another, identity crisis occurs in people's mental view of you"

Emeka Nobis is a  thought leader, life coach and founder of Profound Impact International.His calm disposition during his speeches can soothe any worried mind. He  spoke on Creativity in Leadership, Some punchlines from him are:

-"Creative leadership places on you the responsibility to be of service to the society "
-"Success can be acquired and amplified within the confines of a community "

-"Engaging and connecting with individuals who follow you helps make them your brand connectors".

"Express your blessedness and visciously showcase yourself".

-"Share stories, leverage on them to connect with your audience".

Samuel Ukah gave a Pep talk on the Power of Being First. Where he butressed the fact that a price ought to be paid to remain the first thought of a person. The first doesn'need to be  perfect ".

It was a very remarkable event as everyone had a made up mind to make a difference in the society as well as leave a legacy for others.
